i'm still waiting to hear from my son at the stiles unit, located on fm 3514. has anyone gotten a letter yet from any on their people housed in one of those 4 units located on fm 3514? i know he has'nt been to commissary since gustav went through last month. any info. is greatly appreciated...:o..pam

Pam ~ I know the unit had not mailed out anything since 09/10/08 up until the 17th. I do not know if they are doing the mail yet or not.

I did call the USPO hotline and was told that the local post office was open and delivering mail as of the 17th. So now we just have to wait till they get around to passing/picking up mail from the guys.

Well that explains alot my husband got so upset cuz he thought I hadn't been writing and I was at home worry about why I had not heard from him it had been about 3 weeks maybe a little longer but when we both finally started getting letters they had the same post dates posted onto the envelopes then when he started gettting my letters he wrote back apolizing for the one letter he wrote and was a little to harsh , I just kept writing letters during that time telling him in each one I havent stopped writing and never will , I told him I didnt know why he want getting them but when they start coming thru again he would have plenty to read and he did ,lol! Thanks TXgurl for the info , I was so worried cuz I hadnt recieved man from my husband then 1st one I finally di get one from him he was a bit harsh with me cuz he thought I had not been writing both of our 1st letters recieved were post marked for the 17th, so needless to say once he did start getting my letters there was a lot and the next one I got from him he apolized it he wwas just worried and freak out as I was too but didnt write harsh words just balmed it on the postal service...Thanks Again!
