hi here every one. I have been on this site for about 2 weeks now and have found some intresting topics and questions but now i need help now.Basically how do you go about getting parole?My fiance was suppose to get out at the age of 25 and next month he will be 26. He has been in jail sine the age of 16 but when he was sentenced they said untill 25 or ten years what ever comes first but no one has wrote us or said any thing to him about a release day or ant thing and we are both becoming a bit fustrated with the waiting.If some one knowas any way of helping PLEASE give some advice....He is in Calipatria State Prison.. Usually, for parole, they have to go before the parole board. Does he have a counselor or classification officer he could contact? If all else fails, it might pay to hire a lawyer to pursue this. Good luck and keep us posted.

I beleve he has a councelor but we have been looking into just geting a lawyer and saying DAM the middle man. Thanks for youe reply..Any more suggetions?

Meia, There is no reason his counslor can't give him either a parole hearing date or a release date. This is no big secret. Every prisoner I've ever done time with had this info. Most of my paper work had it on it. I have no idea why he would not know this info as it is pretty basic stuff. If he can't get it he can 602 records & they will give him the info. ------Ken

thanks.I guess I need to start doing some calling my self to his councelor.Like I said the JUDGE told him he waould be sentenced untill he turned 25 .That was las Septmber...Something ain't right....I thought that was pretty simply info to get too.:eek: :confused:
