FYI---As of a phone call this morning, Pack Unit in Navasota, TX, has water but still has no power. Visitation for this weekend (20-21st) is cancelled and that will not change even if they get power.

another quick update...
got a letter from my husband today saying that they were finally able to shower on Monday. power is still off and as long as it stays that way, they won't be able to go to store (so if they are out of stamps, envelopes, etc...mail will be slow) and college classes are on hold as the trustees are staying in the schoolhouse.

Hello everyone, I just call Pack I and they told me that visitation is back on for this weekend, (9/20-9/21). They also stated that if there is any problems that the visitation will be cancelled for the weekend. So, PLEASE CALL BEFORE YOU GO!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the updated info--that is great news!!!!!! I'm hesitantly excited... I have family in College Station (near Pack) and the grocery stores have curfews to try to restock, the gas stations are running low, etc... so if you go this weekend, maybe make sure you get fueled up an hour or two before getting to navasota, just in case!

I'm assuming that means the power is back on??
