I have 2 penpals, One we have no problem get alone well. The other one I am not to sure about. We have only been writing for a couple of months. But he has lied on so many things. The one thing that bothers me is he has lied about how much time he has to do. My question is should it bother me as it does because of his lies or should I stop writing him? I am not looking to get in a relationship with him just penpal but the lies. So please give me your input

Hi Indy, I personally don't like to be lied to and when I find I cannot trust the person in question to tell me the truth, then I personally do not want to have anything to do with them. However, some people think that the only way they can keep a relationship or friendship going is to elaborate and gloss over the facts. I am sure that many of the inmates aren't proud of what they have done in the past and maybe they think that if a penpal knew the real truth they wouldn't want to write any longer. I would tell the penpal that you are onto the lies and you don't care for that quality in a person and he needs to open up and be truthful with you. This gives him another chance to improve. But if it continues, it is up to you what you want to do but for me it would be Bye-Bye.

if they lie about one thign who says they are not lying about Everything???
call him out on it..tell him no more...or you are done..give him the chance or just call it quits...there are SOOOO many who would LOVE a pen Pal!!

Girls i received a call from my Melvin telling me at 3pm they were going back into lockdown. it seems that two guys got into a fight and so off to lockdown they were. i know how we all hate lockdown so i thought IWould tell you all. excuse my writing i am on my phone website.

Thanks, Wifey, for the update. I cannot believe they are on lockdown again. Why don't they just put the two guy who were fighting on lockdown? I am sick of this. You can't plan anything ahead of time because of these constant lockdowns. My sister and I had made plans to visit this weekend so please keep us updated. I will be going to visit my sister and family tomorrow and stay until Thursday. My sister is (was?) planning to come back with me to go visit my nephew (her son) on Saturday. I will try to check the site whenever I can while I am away. Lets hope this doesn't last long.
