OK, another storm coming in and it is supposed to be worst than the others- -so far.
As of right now, officers have been warned how they will be working if we bring inmates back up to the Tennessee Colony area, mandatory stay- -meaning, we don't leave until they are taken care of.
The FIRST priority is going to be the safety of ALL inmates.
The way it looks NOW- -officers are going to be a "tad" busy for a few .
Now- -anyone thinking of having a visit in the south area, PLEASE just wait and go next weekend.
If a unit or units is going to be in any danger, the inmates WILL be moved, therefore, no visitation, simple.
I do not mean to write this bad in anyway, just trying to let you know, ALL inmates will be safe, mandatory!!
The EASIEST way to find out any information without calling will be to look on tdcj web site.
I will do my best to let you know what is going on with visitation - -when I hear somethng.
I'm sure TXLAX can help also.:)
PLEASE take care of yourself- -your love ones will be OK, might not be in love with the moving in of it- -but they will be OK.

Be safe.

I was told this morning that visits to the Rosharon Units in Brazoria County may be canceled. I'll update if I hear more.

Small is right. They my not like the move but it is for the best. I would rather my loved one "inconvenienced" for a little while to a place where it is safe than to weather out the storm and the aftermath. Look at it this way, they are getting to take a road trip somewhere other than commissary or chow hall...a regular vacation from their daily routine. :D

Nothing was said today about bringing inmates inland- -but it's only Wednesday- -tdcj kind of likes to wait until the last minute- -you guys know that.
I will let you know if we are todl we get some in th enext day tomorrow night.
NOW- -YOu guys that have love ones in a certain area- -take care of yourselves- -they are fine- -just pray for people that have no place to go or to scared to go, pray for your neighbor!
911 tomorrow- -we should all pray- -for everyone!

Be safe.

Things are not looking good for Houston and the surrounding areas. Please stay home and visit next weekend just as Small said. Your loved ones will be taken care of. That is our job.

Our loved ones are not the only ones at risk in a hurricane situation - the CO's are as well. Y'all be careful and stay safe, okay?

I would rather our loved ones be safe. I pray that the CO that have to work under the condition have understanding family. I pray that all the CO's and inmates are safe.
