As I have written before, my son is already up for parole (as far as having time served) and we are now within hopefully 2 weeks of getting an answer. The problem, what he plead to and what the TDCJ has on their computers aren't the same , basically it comes down to the offense they say is a State felony offense and that if he was paroled, he'd go right back to Huntsville and be re-entered into the system for at the earliest release, March 2004! My husband called and talked to his caseworker, last Fri. who told him that they (state) basically lied to him, and that he would get an attorney if he was us. So my husband faxed my son's court appointed attorney that Friday evening, and he called and talked to my husband yesterday (a SUNDAY no less). He said that TDCJ was ALL messes up and that they couldn't do that, he told my husband that he'd get a transcript of the judges order and send it to whereever in the TDCJ system it would have to go to be taken care of. My question is where does that info have to go? Does anyone have a starting place for me to call? I have a call put in to TIFA but no call back as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
