My fiance didn't go to hoe squad the first day because he was listening to the radio too loud or something and missed line up by a couple of minutes. They had his court today and gave him 15 days in the hole and dropped him to a class 4. :( All of the other inmates in there told him that when that had happened to them, even when it wasn't their first day, they didn't drop their class or anything. I don't understand why they're being so harsh with him. Now I can't see him this Saturday:( or even talk to him on the phone. Has this happened to anyone else's loved one? He's going to try to appeal it. Do you know if that's possible? If you have ANY information, please reply. Thank you.

Call his counselor and find out exactly what happened. There may be more than what you are hearing. What unit is he at? Some are more strict than others.

He is at Cummins. How do I get a hold of his counselor, so I can find out the exact facts of the situation. They are allowing me to see him Thursday for a 2 hour visitation, but he's going to be handcuffed. I really want to know what's going on.

Poor thing.. Sorry about this. I'd ask for Asst. Warden Luckett and let him direct u to right person - you'll need the details of what happened at his disciplinary hearing. Although, i'm not sure if we have the 'right" to those details. Good luck. i HATED seeing my husband in handcuffs.
