It's normal in most states that if you are the victim of domestic violence an NCO will be issued by the court.

the court didnt do it but i hear parole does at least in ca so i was wondering if doc is as strict in other states

They will do that here, too. Parole doesn't want to have to come after him when he gets back into domestic abuse, so they keep him away from his *partner*. Cali is quite strict about it.
