I live in south florida.We are currently in line for a direct hit from Ike-unless a miracle happens.After Wilma I had no power for three weeks.I will miss you guys and be back as soon as I can.I love you all.

I may be the same way girl. We're still reeling from Fay and wham, we're hit with Ike. After Frances and Jeanne I was without power for a total of 2 months. I can't go through that again. If Ike turns even a hair to the north I'll be outta here. Stay safe and maybe I'll see ya on the turnpike headed north. :thumbsup:

My brothers in laws got hit really bad with Fay now preparing for Ike. I think they are on their way up to Ny ...

Where do you all go? I would already have my car full of gas and heading north. Don't go west--Head north. There should be shelter here in Decatur,Al for people. There was for the one this past weekend. Get out of there.

My car is full and so is two gas cans. I'd actually be headed to Huntsville. I have friends there.

I hate that Ike will end up somewhere and affect someone, but I am SOOOO thankful it does not look like it will be in South Florida...
