I need to know if anyone has had a loved one in trouble for smuggling smokes into their unit? If so what was their punishment.

View Full Version : What kind of trouble can he(they) be in? Skrap 11-30-2003, 06:19 PM I need to know if anyone has had a loved one in trouble for smuggling smokes into their unit? If so what was their punishment. rojitaandkeith 12-02-2003, 01:27 PM It depends on the unit, what unit is he in? rojitaandkeith 12-03-2003, 04:42 PM If he is in a work release unit they can send him back to a regular unit. They can change his class. countrys_guirl 12-09-2003, 02:46 PM They usually get busted at least one class, sometimes they receive a job change. It depends on the unit too. If they are in a treatment program, such as SATP, they may not get anything. Smuggling smokes is a problem, obviously...just one more contraband they have to try to control. What unit is your friend at? Jenn juliwaits 12-14-2003, 12:02 PM Disciplinary at Cummins: 60 days no visits, get back to Class 4 which means 30 days hoe squad, then have to move back up to class as they earn it. This screws up parole eligibility date. If he wants out, its NOT worth it! countrys_guirl 12-15-2003, 04:28 PM Funny that I came across this post today...J got busted with cigs last week sometime. I haven't heard from him, but one of his friends wrote his mom. Kinda makes me mad. He apparently lost most of his priveledges, no mail, no phone calls, but didn't lose his class. Thank goodness! He'll still get to go up for parole in Feb. juliwaits 12-17-2003, 04:22 AM At Cummins if you get caught giving him anything at visitation, YOU lose your visitation for a year!!!! TRUST ME on this. |
