that is all soo true!!! i will take any visit any day even if it was 30 minutes anything is better then nothing and i HAVE to see my baby! visits recharge me and make it all better even just for a lil while!!

OMG... at this point i would die to have a 30 min visit since i was denied to see my hubby so feel that you ladies should enjoy your visits no mater how long they are like i said i would love to be able to hold my baby for 30min and i know he feels the same way so dont forget enjoy every minute:thumbsup:

well they told me to try again in 6 months but like i told my husband

that is the only thing that keeps me going the fact that he should be

Well it does get hard at times because you see all your friends with some one and dont say on the holidays i thing it is very hard but i have learn to control my self and keep my self busy all the time and i try to write him alot so that he dont stress or get worried about me but gurl i am here 4 you when ever you feel down or you feel that you can do it just get at me do you have a e-mail or a myspace and that way we could keep intouch so let me know or i could give you my number also just let me know.

I'm hoping that my man comes home next year. Been down 26+ years! Maybe we can all pay off the Governor to release our men to us and our funds for their release would help the deficit we are in! ;):p Have a great day! If you want to stay in Corcoran, I would probably recommend first the Country Inn on Whitley, then the Budget Inn. I always like to get 2nd floor rooms, makes me feel a little safer! :rolleyes: Whichever you stay at, let them know you are visiting the prison, and you will get a few dollar discount. But you are right, TULARE has so much more, but I understand the money situation. Good Luck and Take care!

Since I didnt want to get lost, i just went staright fdown the street when you leave the prison, and the first light i think is whitley i made a left and I stayed on the firs tone i seen towards my right, i dont remember hte name at all. Sorry if that wasnt any help. It was very affordable, and the rooms are ok:) good luck

HISCOQUI: The one you are speaking of is the Budget Inn. The Country Inn is the same direction, further away from the train tracks, just go down further on Whitley and it will be on the left. It is closer to McDonalds, Taco Bell area. Hope that helps you KazyKat. Good Luck!

I NEED HELP! Ok hello let me introduce myself my name is Monica and I've been crusin the pages for info when ever I need it for my fiance that is in Corcoran. He is getting out in 20 days and I'm a mess! Don't know if this is where I should be posting this but couldn't find where else to do so. So on with my story! We MWI through my brother in law and he got 4 yrs but only has had to do 3 which is over in 20 days...We've seen each other when he was at Bailey and have written back and forth and phone calls since his whole time in there. He's slipped and gotten caught up with some female there last holiday season almost a year ago and all of our conversations prior to that were that when he get's out he would go to half way house! NOW when we starting talking again after I shut him out for almost 4 mos, that's when the talk of comin to live with me started and I said woe that was never the plan! Since then I've moved from San Diego to Temecula (whew hew got me a house!) and now he's trying to see if they will release him to my address since I've moved and he submitted my old address for his release. Called the parole officer and she was no help said he needed to talk to his counselor. Any way so now I have two questions...where the heck do I find the information about what to do to pick him up Oct 5th 2008 and what do you think they will do about my move? SISTAHS AND BROTHERS CAN YA HELP ME! I already got the number for R&R today off these posts thank goodness and called but didn't get through will call in the am. So now what do I do? Friday's have gotten closer back to the way they use to be, now that Summer is over. It is usually now two rows of visitors, with an occassional 1/2 of a third row. Love the Friday's!! ;) :thumbsup:

I have been very busy with school and due to being a poor college student I havent been able to see my hubby in over a month....thank goodness for his understanding and support and the encourging letters. Hello Girls Happy Monday My Visit Yesterday Was Sweeett, It Got Crowded But Thank God They Didnt Terminate. Thers Hasnt Been A Visit Where A Freakin Co Comes To Us And Says Ur Tooclose, Or Your Hug And Kiss Should Only Be 5 Seconds...oh Shiiiuuutt Up!!! Lol.... How is everyone doing. Now that it's getting colder and well for me it would be normally the cuddling weather...how are you doing emotionally. So far i am ok. Not looking forward to rain some how it depresses me. It will however be exciting to see my daughter react to the rain. She is only two so i think i will buy her a rain coat and rain boots and let her play in the rain. :)

There are some advantages to being out of state, I got 3 FULL days..and for Corcoran, that's impressive! Especially since they were terminating on 3B...but the CO skipped over us Sat and Sunday...which I appreciated more than he will ever know. We didn't have the kids there this time, so actually got to do ALOT of talking, and get some things worked out...I miss him already....got to meet someone from here on PTO..that was awesome...enjoyed our chat, girl! :) Sorry about the pic, though :(

i know exactly how you feel. my babe got taken just 3 days before christmas and so this time of year is hard. we had some amazing memories that i hang on to like crazy but it still makes it hard. i to have children to help distract me and i am thankful for them every day. these holidays will be better because i will have the support from all of you. you are right we all need to be here for each other because this time of year is very depressing! take care and keep your head up because everyday that goes by we are one day closer.

Hey my friend, maybe some day you can try a Friday visit. You are nearly guaranteed of not getting terminated. Now that summer is over, Friday's have slowed down a little bit and are back to either 2 - 2 1/2 rows filled with people, that's it! AND the visits are from 12:30 - 7pm. Well, let you on the property at 12:30. ;)

HI there and WELCOME to Corcoran!

Yes, your assumptions are correct, you can wear black & pink. Two of the safest colors! ;) Kids can not wear blue jeans, and they too shouldn't be wearing blue or red. Everyone can wear black jeans & capris, or skirt. Just make sure you don't have alot of metal/buttons on shirts/pants. You are NOT allowed to wear any nose, belly or boobie piercings; only one ring set, one necklace, one set of earrings. But I hear at level one visits you can wear nose piercings.

You can not be on the property not a minute before 12:30pm on Friday's or no earlier than 8am on Sat/Sundays.

WOW!!! Only 3 days left of September!!! :eek: Time is flying bye!!! I guess I'm going to have to start getting things in order for when my husband comes home. Sunday got really crowded had to share tables but is all good better than leaving you know;) But was very wonderful, i will be going on the 10th which is Friday see what this whole friday is all about :lol:. I love Christmas, I'am the kind of person that has the christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving or has the house decorated for Christmas! I also love Halloween, I'm a big kid at hear. This year my son is going to be the Werewolf and I'm the old gypsy woman that says " Only a silver bullet can kill him" my son thinks that the gypsy woman is the werewolf's mama. My son is four!!! Thanksgiving is also a wonderful holiday of giving THANKS! Amen. I give thanks for my blessing everyday:D

It's kind of a good thing that time goes by so fast that means we are a few steps closer to our loved ones. Did any of you have rain in your city? :cloud:I know it was raining but not where I work.

When my husband first got transferred there, I called the main #559-992-8800 and told them I was needing an inmates housing info and they transferred my call to whoever could answer my question, I'm guessing it was inmate records (Option #5 ). So, I guess I could have just said yes you call records!! :lol: It's been a long day!! :sleepy:

YEP, had rain yesterday, along with thunder! It was soooo weird. BUT then when the afternoon hit, the sun came through and it was soooo HOT like it is today! :cry: It's 100 degrees over here........and I am about 10 minutes from the beach! WEIRD!!!!! I am so looking forward to the cooler weather. :rolleyes:

Last year I went for Thanksgiving and it was not crowded. I think the room was maybe 1/2 full?? Which is fine for me. As for Christmas, I went that following weekend, and it was about the same.

Yesterday morning on my way to work, I was on hwy 99 just before Stockton and I thought, that's odd, did someone just spit :spit: on my windshield???? :lol: Then I drove into a small amount of rain.:cloud:I was kind of hoping for a whole lot more , then I won't have to wash my car!!!! :p
I hope it doesn't :cloud:while I'm driving to and from visiting on Friday!! It can rain while I'm there, I just don't want to be on the freeway when it first rains!! :no: Sometimes people do not drive so well in the rain!!

Thanksgiving day isn't crowded. Since the day after is a Friday, and people are off work, the visiting room will be a zoo. Don't get there any later than 12:30 if you want to get into the visiting room before the count. You'll probably get terminated before 3pm, but that's better than having to wait for the count to clear. That happened to me last year. I got there at 1:45, and didn't get to go in until the count cleared around 5:30.
