Is anyone else having trouble keeping up with all the new introductions? It takes me an hour to go through and make sure I've welcomed all the new people. I'm going to have to write down the names of everyone I've welcomed so I don't have to go through them all again when I'm short on time.
I'm so glad that the word is spreading so quickly though. This is truely a great place to be!!

Yeah, there are many new members. It's hard to keep up.

PTO is getting bigger and better- we are all going to need to pitch in and help david to keep it manageable-

it is getting difficukt to keep up with and track all the forums--especially if you dont check in every day-any ideas on how to track new posts with more ease?

Maybe everyone could put new posts under their specific state since David has put all of the states on here. That way they would be more spread out and maybe a little easier to find and read.

Just a thought.

LOL Jdswifey and I were just talking about this last night. I wasn't able to get on PTO except for a few minutes for the last week (I was working way to much) and it took me forever to read all the new intro's and respond. I am also happy to see how much we are growing!!! Maybe someone has a suggestion that'll make it easier to tell everyone hello and welcome

I don't know sherri, it sure is getting harder to keep up I agree, even with the amount of time, I spend on here during the off days. Just picking out "topic's" of interest loose's the personal touch that PTO is becoming known for.

If that should ever happen (personal touch) because of growth, we will become just another site on the internet.

Sherri... do you use the "view new posts" feature.... I used to just go through each forum... but now I just click that each time I visit.... and it shows me just where new posts are.... and HOW MANY new posts are there... depending on how much time I have, I can prioritize what I read..... just a thought... sorry if I am point out the obvious to anyone... but for a long time I missed that feature.... :)
BRay... I agree that we need to keep that introduction forum... and that needs to be where people introduce themselves... because I don't want to have to go through all 50 states... as we get more and more members, it isn't like EVERY new member must be welcomed by EVERY existing member..... :)

I agree, you girls do a wonderful job with the "Welcome Wagon". :-)

I ahve to agree that if this support site lossed the family atmosphere that we have it would really not be of any help to anyone. Thank you for pointing out the obvious there I had no idea about that little thing.

Oh, I don't think we are going to loose the family atmosphere.. That is part of what we are, though it is not the only thing. The resources that are growing should be tremendously valuable to anyone trying to find things out. I can't stress enough to use the site's SEARCH feature when you are looking for stuff.. It is POWERFUL.. ;) But, I love the community we have here.. Growing won't take anything away for me. We might focus more on our specific areas of interest, but I don't think that will break anything up..

I never meant to get rid of introductions. I'm just having trouble keeping up. The problem for me is, I can go to last post, but I'm not sure if I have posted there earlier. I love this place, I don't want to change it.
