Mississippi National Guard soldiers are going door-to-door in Harrison and Hancock counties alerting thousands of families living in FEMA trailers and cottages to evacuate Sunday.

Mandatory evacuations begin Sunday for New Orleans.
Mayor Ray Nagin did not call for a mandatory evacuation Saturday, but he said that if Gustav continues on its current path, he would do so as early as Saturday evening, with the required evacuation to begin Sunday morning.
