Has anyone received calls from the day room at Corcoran 1, my man was calling 1 to 2 times a day and I have not ehard from him. He said they were possibly going back on lockdown again for a virus that effected them over the summer and this is not like him not to call.

My son called today, but he's in Level 1. He didn't mention anything about lockdown or a virus. But he doesn't tell me everything either.

Thanks but the levels 1's are on a whole different yard and side of the prison. Guess i gotta wait till Tuesday to call.

Thanks alifer, my original title said has anyone heard from 3C02 DR, I am not sure who did. Anyways, i followed my gut instnict and new something was wrong. He is in the hopsital and now I am trying to find out why.

My husband is not in the same building he is right next door but he is 3C. He called Friday and Saturday. I know it's not important at this time for you.
I am sorry daisy may to hear about him being in the hospital. Hopefully he gets better quick.

Well I found out that he got bit by a spider and the nurse refused to believe him so his arm is swollen and infected so he is now sitting in the hospital and let me add he is diabetic so this did not help.

Hope he recovers quickly. It's always rough when our guys are ill or in the CTC (infirmary/hospital) because we can't see or talk to them. Always trust your instincts - we prison wives have some excellent instincts. ;)

He wouldn't be sitting in a hospital had the Sgt not did something about it. The Sgt went to the nurse and told her you know he is a diabetic right, so why would you tell him to come back tomorrow and have it looked it. If he loses a limb you are responsible for it. So she had him sent to the infirmary. Thank god for the Sgt. and if he would not have done something about it, I would have. That prison already hates me anyways, I would just add to it.

Wow, daisy may, I am so sorry to hear that....as long as he is being treated now there should be no problem. I will definitely say a prayer for him. The hospital there is good, my fiance had his appendix taken out recently and I too, felt something wrong in my gut....then I found out afterwards that it was an emergency surgery. The staff there are alright, but I am glad to hear that the SGT stepped in and did what was right and corrected that nurse. Good luck...

Thank you, well he called last night and it was not a spider bite, it was a pimple that he squeezed but what it ended up being was MRSA. So gthey put him on two antibiotics and pills now. He is back at his bed so that is good but he called mlast ngiht at 7:45 asked if i was worried about him and I told him yes and that I knew in my gut that soemthign was not right.
He told his bunkie where to find my number in case this happened again. i think what happened was he went to the nurse and was not planning on having to stay there. Then was in for a rude awakening.

wow thats some crazy stuff! im sorry you had to worry like that. this life isnt easy as it is and to have the added stress of things like that is intense. but im glad that hes ok!

Has anyone gotten calls from B yard building 2? I usually hear from my man once or twice a day but I have not heard from him since Saturday night. Not really sure whats up?!?! Any word on any incidents over there? We are short timing so I am especially anxious. :)

Yes I was talking about Corcoran 1 - I just recieved a phone call this morning, they were doing cell searches and had the guys on lock-down. Not sure what yards or bldgs but like I said I know they were doing B yard bldg 2. My man did not know if they found much, but apparently nothing major, or nothing they wanted to admit to on the phone :).

I told him I was just starting to worry, and trying to decide how long to wait before I called the prison direct. He said you should know if I don't call we are on lock down. I told him, well it actually could be lots of things, it could be something basic like cell searches, or a minor or major incident, or personally he could have got in trouble and got rolled up to the hole or something or he could be in medical... You know how it is not knowing.

But like I said, he told me they were just doing cell searches and he did not know of any major problems or findings. :) They are finished and normal program has resumed.
