ALL units in the Tennessee Colony area: Gurney, Micheal, Colfield, Powledge, Beto One have had ALL visitation canceled due to the storms and every unit will be getting inmates in to house until the storm passes- -per Mr. Stevens district supervisor!!

Thanks for the info. My son works in the maintenance office at Beto and he said before the last storm, they were sending trucks etc. to the area in case they were needed. I guess to fix electricity etc. He also mentioned they would be getting some guys if they were ivacuated.

Yes, and we were told to call next Saturday morning before making the trip. Visitation may be cancelld next weekend because of Hurricane Hanna.

thanks all for the info...I know my man was evacuated out of Beaumont..LeBlanc Unit today, I hear he is headed that way for a bit...Hope he is back there by the end of next wk...want to be sure he is able to complete his classes to get out on time...

Yes I guess I should've read the board but my grandson's mom and his dad were going to leave early but I will sure tell her to call next weekend in case they might try it again, I posted on the hurricane evaccuation but I will here too. His dad was going and since he's been in prison his dad all but disowned him at least as long as he was married to my daughter but he decided he wanted to go today and then this. She was more upset over Mark not getting to see his dad than anything but hopefully it will work sometime soon.
