My fiance is going to be transferred to this Transfer Facility from County. He is going w/ a 5 year sentence, (two sentences..but there concurrent making it one)and 14 months served. Hes eligible for parole on one at 15 months.But still has 45 months left on his sentence. Is there any factors that determine "which" TDC they'll be sent to after intake? Or is it just a random pick of where there sent??

There's really no way to tell but since he's considered a sex offender there is a possibility he will go to a unit that houses sex offenders. They usually go to safe keeping from what I understand because the general population guys don't particularly like sex offenders. Given that he was so close to his victim's age though he might do alright in GP. It's just a wait and see game now.

-If- he goes to a place that houses sex offenders.. will he still be considered "min level" (since hes not a "risk" and he has been getting good conduct for over a yr...) Does everything still apply as in GP? B/C as far as I know he's going to be w/ GP..

Does anyone know which Units "house" sex offenders. Is TDC just randomly picked.. or will it be in the REGION of the transfer facility hes at.
