Hi everyone! My guy is in the hole at New Folsom waiting on a Validation Packet. It really has me scared. He is doing LWOP and if he is validated we will lose all contact visits and phone calls for good :mad: I am beside myself. He has been doing really well staying out of the politics but IGI begs to differ.

I haven't seen him since his birthday, March 23rd. That was our last contact visit. I am going up there for a window visit in Sept. It is going to be so hard to see him but not be able to touch him. I am crushed!

We should hear something very soon about the validation packet. He says if they validate him he can appeal it and thinks he will win BUT that could take up to another year!

Anyone out there use to being on the mainline with your man and then have him given the SHU? I am not coping with this well at all.

I'm guessing since he's in the hole he received a 115 and they are trying validate him for "suspected" gang involvement/activity.

He can 602 the 115 decision and the ICC decision if he's found guilty. I just went through something with my guy and fortunately we avoided the SHU term we are just being transfered. :)

Thank you for the 411! He told me he could 602 it but I do not have much faith in the system. I am so very stressed.

We are waiting word on his appeal on the LWOP .....he has been down for 8 years. I just did not need this extra stress right now.

You're welcome. :) Sometimes you have no choice but to have a little faith. I did a lot of research and sent him printed copies of sections of DOM that applied to our situation. Here we are waiting for transfer. Mind you this was at another prison but there is hope.
