My husband has just been transfered to Ventress and just want some info on what to expect. Is it as bad as some of these threads say. I am new to this and just want to make sure I know what to expect. Any info is apprecaited.

My boyfriend is there and he says that it is a pretty good camp, compared to the others. Its laid back as long as you do what you are suppost to do. Im sure your husband will do fine. I had a visit today for the first time, and all of the gaurds were very respectful to me and the inmates. 100% better than easterling!!

Thanks for the info I don't get to see him until next month. I talked to him this past weekend and he is adjusting fine.

i get to go visit on the 27th again. i hate the fact that they only have once a month visits, but it makes them that much better when you finally get to see their face. my boyfriend is in d dorm and he says its laid back. good luck!

Visiting once a month I know is hard but we write alot and that makes me feel closer to him than anything. He is in the D dorm too. When he first got there he could only call on the weekend because some of the guys were in the SAP program. That was hard not hearing his voice, but we did get to talk this past weekend. I hope you have a really good visitation with your boyfriend and my God bless you and him.

my boyfriend is waiting to get into the sap program and its going to suck not being able to talk to him everyday. i dont understand why they only let them call on the weekends, but i guess it will make us look forward to when we do get to talk. good luck with everything. i talked to brian earlier and he said that everything is going good and that no fights have broke out. thats good to know that everyone is acting right.

Hi, my son just got there too...I believe the inmate has to put you on a list all we can do is wait...but I did call up there to find out where son was,they were very helpful 1-334-775-3331
Actually I called to see if ok to send stamps, which she said yes and they provide the paper and envelopes. Global tel net is their phone co.
She ask me for son AIS# and told me the address...
I'm trying to find out if D4 means dorm 4 (if D stands for dorm) and if any one else have someone in this D section and what its like.
