My husband called me today to tell me he had been transferred from kilby to bibb.He said its rough up there.Can anyone give me any info they have from visitation to what i can send him?Thankx

You can send him letters, cards, up to 6 pages of stationary, pre-stamped envelopes, plain envelopes, stamps, a few pictures at a time. Books and magazines must be sent from a publisher or book store. Visitation rules are posted in this forum and they are pretty up to date. I would advise that you always take an extra change of clothes because it didn't matter what I wore for the first 8 visits I was made to go back to the car to either change something or put something up...so be prepared. Wal-mart isn't far but it takes away from your visitation time. They do visitation by last name every other weekend either on Saturday or Sunday from 8am until 1pm. You have to get in a car line if you arrive before 7:30 am on the road before the entrance to the prison. They come and get us and lead us in. They sometimes take the drug dogs out and search the vehicles so if you are scared of dogs be aware this may happen. They are on the debit card system...$1 for the card...20.00 for snacks. You can have pictures made most every visit but my honey says he don't want any photos while he is incarcerated so we haven't done any pictures.
