Well we all know that sometimes they don't always use comon sense. My husband had a 2 day buss trip to Arizona.

I will be taking the grehound bus from San Diego to Casa Grande. Can someone recommend a motel and taxi service to use, if visiting a prison in Eloy?
What are the visiting regulations, days and hrs. and do you need prior approval even if you visited your loved one in Calif? Do you make appts? I know I'm jumping the gun a little but I think my son will probably go to La Palma if that's where all the Calif. inmates are going to now., just trying to get some info ahead of time. They told him he would either go to La Palma, Red Rock or Florence Corr. Cnt. in a few months.

At Red Rock visiting is from 8:30-3:30 everyday except Wed. That day is for inmates that are in ASU(the hole) There are 2 motels --Motel 6 and Days Inn they are off the Sunland Gin Rd off freeway 10. I found them to be the closest to the prison 15 min away. Even though you are approved to visit at a Cali prison you need to wait until they input your info into the CCA prison computer system at the prison you will visiting. Which can take upto 1 month. But you can call them and they will do it ASAP for you. (or maybe I just got lucky). Not sure on the $ for the taxi I usually drive down there. Good Luck
