Hi Iam very new to this but found this site very intresting. My boyfriend in in Calipatria State Prison. He was suppose to be released when he turned 25 last year he now on his way to being 26 and no one has said any thing to him about a release date. I am getting so tired of this FUCKED up system(excuse my language) . we have wrot attorneys and courts and they all keep giving us the run around and keep telling him to write this person and that person.Why wont someone just help us. If any one reads this Please give me some advice on what else we can do.? I have been with him for the past 91/2 years and Love him so much we just want or need answers.....

Hi Meia and Welcome to PTO...I just read this and I see it's been a lil' while since you posted it....

I think it is very interesting and would like to know a little more.
Can you post the reasons they are not releasing him...
or what they are saying the reasons are?
Have you talked to the Counselor at the prison? What does he/she say?
Does your boyfriend have a parole or probation officier assigned yet?
What was his original sentence and how much time has he served on it?
Did he receive any outside/inside additional charges while he was incarcerated, that could have led to him serving additional time?

Just a few questions to get started...
