How are you all doing? Well, I feel really sad now. I just got two letters from my man and was told that he got a YEAR flat!! :mad::(:( They offered him a year, but he said No. Thus, he has to go the board and so do I cuz he put me down as his witness.

He gave me his lawyer's name and phone #, so I tried to call him! But it said that the number's unavaliable from my calling area, so I couldn't reach him.. I REALLY need to get my boy friend less time!

Do you know How I can contact with his lawyer?
Will CIM let me know his lawyer's number??

In the letter, he said "if you want to break up with me, please let me know. My heart will be hurt, but I will try to understand....." It really hurts me.. I couldn't stop crying while I drove to home..

Is there anything that I should know about before I go to the hearing? If you guys have any advice, please let me know.. It will be really appreciated..

ok and this again is something alot of us have gone through!!!! dont stress one of the ladies will help you............and yeah i dont think the prison will tell you who his lawyer is but maybe go down to the court house and pull up the case and maybe it will be listed in there....all the paper work from the case is open file i believe!! good luck

Im sorry to hear of your news...I felt the same way back in December when I went to my husbands hearing and the commissioner said one year flat!!!

Call me and I can call on three way for you so that you can call his Lawyer...(phone number removed per PTO policy).

They will call you into the room and the commissioner will ask you whatever he wants to ask you....he only asked me one question and that was...how do you feel your husband was doing on the streets...i told him how good he was doing, working and all and how I needed him home to help with everything, he cut me off and said ok thank you for your time and asked me to leave...that was it.

I hope that you get more accomplished at your honeys hearing than we did.....they also gave my husband one year flat...he will be home November 08:thumbsup:

Oh yeah, all the visiting rules apply for the hearing as well....my husbands hearing was on East Yard off of Euclid.

The hearing will not be at a court house, it will be at the Prison.

You have to be subpoena by your husband, the attorney will send you a certified letter to your home address with the date and time and location of the hearing....you cannot go to the hearing without your proof of subpoena. They will want to see it at the prison gates.

Oh Yeah, to look up court records you have to go to the court web site that he has the case out of....I know how to look up Orange Co. Riverside Co. and San Bernardino Co. for free, Los Angeles County wants you to pay for the records....:thumbsup:

When I called my boyfriends parole board attorney, I called their office because she would never call me back. I just gave them his CDC # and name, and I told them I have left several messages for his attorney but she never called back, so I asked them to look up his board date and anything I needed. At the top of the CA Probation and Parole section, there's a sticky that is a handbook for parole hearing witnesses. It should answer meany of your questions.
