CIM in general is a reception center only. Phones are usually not available to inmates until they get classified and start working. Although there are some CO's that will allow an inmate to work for a phone call once in a while. But sorry , like I said generally there are no phone priviledges in CIM

My boyfriend is in Chino. He is mainlined there. He gets to make phone calls twice a week but has to sign up for them in advance. He just went mainline this week. He was there for a couple of weeks being evaluated and they wouldn't let him make phone calls at that time.

Is he mainlined or in reception? It makes a difference for visiting hours. I have visited mine twice this week. No problems.

Its all very confusing and frustrating for all of us, so no need to apologize!!!!!!!!!! You cant visit mon, tue, or wed. the hours and days vary I think from RCW, Reception Center Central, and the other side, so call (909)597-1824. After wednesday. If hes in central reception the ext. # 6086. Good Luck

I am pretty new to all of this also. I have been quite frustrated trying to visit and trying to get phone calls.
When my boyfriend first got to Chino they put him in reception, after a couple of weeks they placed him in mainline after he was evaluated. That means he has been placed hopefully where he will stay.

Mainline visiting hours are Sat. and Sun. 8:30 to 2:30 and Friday and Saturday evenings from 4-8. The visit is outside on picnic tables in a large enclosed area. It's kind of nice, at least as nice as this sort of thing can be. I live close by so I don't have much of a drive. We got lucky I guess.

I found out yesterday that my boyfriend is in Reception Center Central. I have yet to talk to him, but today I mailed him the letters that I have been writing him along with 10 stamped envelopes, 5 unsharpened pencils, and paper. I'm hoping to hear from him soon. The person I talked to on the phone was really helpful and told me to come Thursday to fill out a visitor application and it will take 7-10 days to process. I'm hoping to be able to visit by next weekend. He's not mainlined there so I'm not sure how long he will be there for but I'm hoping he will stay there because it's close to my house.

hi my guy is in minimum mainline---they get vists thur, fri, sat and sun, if i remember correctly thurs and fri is 5-830
and, sat and sun i morning like maybee 8:30-2:30 if you call
909/597-1821 then push 1 then press 1 again then the recording will list the four facilities in cim, each one has different visiting location and hours, and then if you need to speak with some one you can call like thurs, fri, sat and sun...the recording has which hours..

i havn't gone yet...i am not sure whats up with me right now...so we will see..

do any of you know how often they get to use the phone in minimum mainline...and do they need to sign up.....

have any of you heard about the conditions...there..

best and peace-francis

Hey if anyone can help me out, I would totaly appricate it. Here's the thing, my baby is in "Reception Center Central" at CIM and I found out there is no phone calls, but I'm still unsure about mail. What can I send him & can he send out anything? Also lately I've noticed there are different rules for inmates, I mean my man is a "Parole Violater" he paroled out 9-2-03 and violated 10-2-03. At West Valley court hearing they or'd him the only reason he is in is due to a "Parole Hold?" or something, but I wanderd how I would find out his Parole hearing, and can I go? Please help me-anybody I am so lost in the C.A-B.S. Thanks
