First and foremost, I am a woman of God, serving the Lord in all that I do. I know he is using me in this struggle against the atrocities of the prison system. Change WILL come, because we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!!

I am really new to this prison thing, but am becoming educated very quickly. I met my honey while at his sister's house almost 2 years ago. She handed me the phone & asked me to talk to her brother for a minute and now here we are getting married next week. He is a 3 Striker (non-violent and non-serious) held up in Salinas Valley. I have become a very strong advocate of the FACTS organization (as if you all haven't figured that out already :) ) trying to get the law changed.

One wish I have is that all Californians would check out the thread I set up for an "Alternative for Governor". Unless you are aware of and VOTE for someone other than Davis or Simon, we're going to have to continue living in this crap and we'll have no one to blame but ourselves. I am not trying to force Matt Gray on anyone, but you are all very computer literate and owe it to yourselves to check out his website and his platform.
