My husband went to the hospital for gall bladder surgery back in june. To make a long story short, now he is in ICU on a respirator. The doctors say he is in critical condition, but because he isnt in "grave" condition I am being told I cant see him. This is his second time in ICU in 4 weeks. The first time he was in there I was allowed a visit every other day for two hours. And he wasn't in as bad a condition as he is now. Is there anything I can do to get in too see him? He's in there all alone and probably thinking I dont care cause I havent been there and I can't tell him why. It is making me sick not being able to be there for him. And every time my phone rings my heart drops into my stomach. Does anyone know what I might do to get some kind of visit? I've tried pleading with the warden but no luck. Unless the doctors say he is dying, I can't see him. Thanks for any sugestions you might have.

WOW! I'm so sorry you are going through this horrific situation!!! I am surprised the warden isn't working with you on this. Especially because your husband is on a respirator and is his second time within 4 weeks in ICU.
I sure hope someone here can lead you in the right direction on what to do. You may want to contact GRYPHON, he's an attorney here in Cali, and a very useful tool here as a member of PTO! I would send him a Private Message.
My best to you!!

Thanks For The Help. I Sent A Private Message To The Guy You Mentioned. Hopefully He Can Help. I'm Really Scared That Something Is Gonna Happen And I'm Not Gonna Be There. Hes All Alone There. He Needs His Family To Get Beter. Thanks Again.
