Quick question does anybody know how I can go about getting my husbands transcripts from trial without paying for them?

Hi I Just Went Throught The Same Thing But Mines Was Like 8 Pages And It Cost 18.00 Dollars .you Have To Call The Court And Call The Courtroom And Talk To The Actual Court Reporter And She Sends Them To You.you Can Also Get A Shortened Version "minute Order" For A Little Cheaper From The Clerks Office But If You Need Complete Details Like I Did Then You Are Going To Need The Transcripts...good Luck:)

In another contact with you, it seemed like the Notice of Appeal has been filed. If so, the transcript will be prepared for the lawyer handling the appeal; the defendant can get a copy from the lawyer.
One teh appeal is done, a copy will go to teh court file. You may or may not be able to make a copy fo ryourself depending on the court clerk. The court reporter claims the right to own the transcript, so some clerks will want you to buy a copy from the clerk. Others will let you make a copy.
