Hello out there I have had the opportunity to read some of the post but many of them are rather old. My guy is headed to Morgantown at the end of this month and I was trying to get a little insight on the workings of the facility. Couple of questions:

(1) Does his visiting list and phone list have to be approved all over again?
(2) What are the amenities at the camp i.e. workout facility, track etc..
(3) Is the area nice ie... lodging, restaurants etc.
(4) Lastly does anyone travel from the St. Louis area
(5) Oh what's the climate of the inmates and staff is this a rather laid back facility?

From all I have ever read and heard is the visitor list follows the inmate.

As far as the workout facility, there is one. Although it can get crowded. And there are a lot of games that are played. Softball etc.

I think the area is nice. And someday I might even learn my way around the area! There are lots of nice hotels and the usual retaurants. If you like to shop the mall is okay too!

Nice place, I spent a year there. Nice area, I lived there for about 5 years outside the prison.

Pretty laid back. Improved since they got a new warden.

I have a good friend there now, taking Guitar and water painting lessons. Doesn't seem too bad compared to most other places!
