If anyone knows there is a criminal no contact order the courts placed on my xbf for domestic violence against me. They gave him 4 years for the dv, (he had prior dv) i would like to write to him and tell him my feelings but i am not sure if i am allowed to, no one seems to know i called the public defender, da, everyone i could think of and no one seems to know if i would be in violation of order, any help please would be appreciated. thanks

If there is no restraining order that is specific to restraining your actions, then it's still a free country as far as you are concerned; and you can do as you wish. He can't write back to you, though.
