I thought I'd share this with everyone. Made me realize not everybody in the system is heartless.

A couple weeks ago I had this feeling come over me that something was wrong with my Rocky.. I hadn't received a letter for 2 days, which was very rare, also he was supposed to call me and didn't. So I said the hell with this I'm calling the prison and see if they would at least tell me he was ok. When I asked the person who answered the phone, she said "I will connect you with the Chaplain". I started explaining my concerns to him, he said as far as he knew everything was alright but he would check it out and have Rocky call me. Well I told him I was at work and I couldn't receive collect calls here, he replied "let me worry about that" I gave him my work number, about an hour later my phone rang, it was the Chaplain, he said well I found him, here you have 5 mins. I was so excited to hear Rocky's voice. Come to find out mci put a block on my phone..(long story) and mail just happened to be slow. I just wanted to reach out and give that Chaplain the biggest hug for making my day.

A few months ago Chris hadn't had a vistit from me or heard from me because both my kids had surgery in one week. Anyways to make a long story short I get a call one day and this lady asks for me and tells me she is the counsler at his prison. My heart dropped to the ground. She said that Chris was worried because it wasn't normal for him to not hear from me. I told her everything was fine and what had gone on then she said well just a minute and put him on the phone. I have a block on my phone and thought it was real nice of his counsler to call and then on top of it let him talk to me for a minute.
