Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say hi and let the wives of some of the prisoners know that things can change. My husband went away in 94, for nearly 7 years. I can not tell you how long this seemed. I am sure that alot of you know the feeling. I tried to visit him as much as possible, but the Feds ended up shipping him thousands of miles away, making it impossible to visit. We went through some very hard times, and so did our children.
He got out and found a job as a telemarketer. I told him it did not matter, that I was proud of him for earning an honest living and that is all that mattered. He was proud of that support and has worked hard ever since. He was soon promoted to the operations manager, and was then discovered by a large company that needed an Operation manager.

We have just bought our first home and my husband is a new man. He has even started a new site like this one, to try and help prison families. While checking to see if MSN had listed the site yet (prisonkids.com), I stumbled on to this site. the owner and my husband have alot in common. I am sure they will make a difference.

Anyway that's my story. Hang in there and trust...
It can get much better. I am proof. LOL

Thank you so much for sharing your story. More of these happy endings need to spoken out about. It's great to hear that many positive things came from the situation your family was in.

Hello thelma,

I am glad to hear that you guys are doing fine now that he is out. I myself will have to wait almost 7 years for my husband to be finally free. I know it is a long time, but I know that everything will be fine in the end. I do worry about what kind of future is ahead of us. Well, good luck!
