For those of you who know my story, I have been VERY anxious over the past two months to know whether or not I would ever be approved to visit my man... as I met him while working within the walls and am now a former employee.... Well, just wanted to let everyone know that I just found out tonight that I am APPROVED!!! YEAH!!! (Special thanks to Bella for diggin for info all the way from FL!!) :) I am leaving now for an overnight drive to see him first thing in the morning!! Thanks to everyone who has been keeping me in their prayers... and for all the support during the down times... There are happy/high moments on this rollercoaster and I am so glad to be able to experience one!!!! :D :D :D

Anytime! That's what we are here for to help one another. Sometimes, something that could be so easy for one to do becomes very hard when it is for yourself and your emotions are involved. I believe in Karma and hope in the future if I need others help Karma will follow through.

I am so happy that JD is able to see your smiling face. I know that is going to be a special visit one like never before. To know that someone or some system tried to keep you apart and look boom you were delivered from this battle. R.Kelly does a song called THE STORM IS OVER. This is how I feel about this visitation issue. I am very proud that you hung in there and fought the system. CONGRADULATIONS!!

Shortie... it is so cool that you mentioned that R.Kelley song... it is one we both hold dear and have promised each other we will listen to when we are losing hope... :)
We had a GREAT visit... he was SO suprised to see me.... he hadn't even gotten word about his visitor's list being approved and he told me when the guard woke him up and told him he had a visit, he was sure he had either made a mistake and meant to get another inmate OR was just playing a "joke" on him.... When they brought him in and he saw me, his eyes just filled with tears and a big smile came across his face... I think it took a few whole minutes for either one of us to be able to say anything... :)
Since I had to drive so far, I stayed overnight and was able to see him again today (he is limited to 2 one-hour no-contact visits a month... so we are done for this month)....
After not seeing him for almost three months, I was more than happy... :D I am sure as the time goes on things will only get better....
