Well I finally got a return call from the lady where my fiance is. She said that the 3 weeks that my lawyer needs is going to be ok. But then after I got off the phone with her, my lawyer calls and said, that he lost his attourney ID, so he has to order another one so he can get in the prison to help us get our licence. And he said that could take up to 4 weeks. I told my fiance, maybe it wasn't ment for us to get married. I am soooo upset, I have been sick all day. And today is my fiance's birthday, so what wonderful news to break to him. I'm not going to give up though, we will get married on our son's birthday, I will give all I have to see that this happens. Please wish us luck, and keep us in your prayers!!

I know exactly how you are feeling right about now because my fiance and I are having a bit of a snag with the date of our marriage ever since that stupid C/O put him on c-grade last month it has messed everything up completly.Like you I will be strong for the both of us, even though I want to pull my hair out at times. Anyway you are in my prayers.

Horsegal, I am praying and believing that the snags will subside! I know how it is though, Manny and I have been waiting since May. To be honest, Manny filed a 602 (prison grievance appeal) because we had our paperwork in on time but they did not get the job done on the counselor's behalf. His excuse was an overload of cases. Well Manny is the type of person that keeps his faith no matter what. He personally talked to the associate warden on the yard and so the 602 was directed straight at the head warden (which shocked me and I thought ... we'll be waiting till next April... this sux!).

Manny kept saying "this is of God don't lose faith, baby." I just shook it off and said "I have all the time in the world to prepare cause they ain't gonna approve it. There reasoning is that only 5 couples get married on that particular yard only twice yearly, April and Sept.

Keep the faith, cause not only did we gain God's favor in the situation, they are allowing 6 couples to wed (which the secretary told me is just never done) and we are the 6th.

I am gonna be lifting you two up in prayer dear so know that love is coming your way and pick out that dress already, do not be like me with 13 days and no wedding dress!!! :rolleyes:

keep the faith girlfriend on door closes another one opens. my man is on deathrow in ga and they won't even allow us to get married because they saw all of them are the scum of the earth. so we got married together and said our own vows :)
