Well Yesterday In The Mail I Received A Photo Of My Fiance And It Was Taken By Lifetouch. I Was A Surprized To See Him In A Nice White Shirt With Out His Prison Blues On.

I Kinda Sorta Heard Thru The Grapevine That They Were Going To Be Having Inmates Photos Taken But Never Asked Him If He Took Them. But Now I Know He Did And It Was A Great Surprize.

Did Anyone Else's Loved One Take Them Too?

What prison? 1 or 2? awww, i would LOVE to have those types of pictures of my baby =} did they have to pay for them from the money on their books? jaime HATES spending money (he's always talking about saving money- and i'm always thinking of ways to waste it:D), so he probably would've passed it up! he better NOT had, or he's gonna be in big trouble..... =/ but yeah when did they take them?

My husband got the pics taken too. He got 2 shots, one in the white shirt and one in a grey sweatshirt. I'm so excited to see him in normal clothes!

Jaimes - they took the pics at the end of May at CSP 1. They had to take money off of their books. I think it was like $30 or so.

Sadgirl - I think this is the first time in a couple of years that they've had professional pictures taken. It doesn't happen very often. I'm fairly certain they don't get to have pictures taken if they are in ASU. Hopefully your man will be out of ASU (or better yet - out of prison) by the next time the photographer comes.

Yeah, i was just talking to my sweets, and he was over here making up a big ol' lie! He told me they did notify them that they were going to be taking pictures, BUT that i was mad at him at the time, so he didn't wanna ask for money!!!! i started throwing a fit, and he started laughing, and said he was just kidding!!! ugh!!! i had seriously felt my heart sink, because i would sooooo LOVE to have these types of pictures of him.....

So are they like $15.00 each? What size are they? Is there a limit on how many they can purchase?

I don't know if the photographer offered different packages of pictures, but the ones my husband had done were like $15 or so per pose, and then he got an 8x10, a couple of 5x7's and some wallet photos. I don't know if there was a limit on how many they could have done.

I think it also depends on the photographer. About 5 years ago at Calipatria, my husband had the photos taken, and the inmates could take like 3 or 4 poses per package that they bought.

My husband called and told me that they would be offering this again at Christmas time. I will make sure that he has money this time.

Got mine a few weeks ago. SSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SEXY! The only drag was the clothing. When my friend's hubby was locked up, his facility was with the business when it came to pictures. Her hubby was allowed to take his shirt off for those flicks. MAN OH MAN!

Good to know, that they'll be taking photos again around Christmastime. They weren't allowed to have photos taken while in the SHU, either. :( But next time, gonna get me some'a that!
