My husband is getting released on December 9th. I got his plane ticket and sent him property for release. It almost doesn't seem real. I never would have imagined that I could miss someone so much. I live in California and have not seen him since January. :D

Thanks to everyone here, this has been a great place to vent. Sometimes you just feel better after saying it. Thank you. Everyone will be home for Christmas, we have sons in OK and one in NC. Cannot wait... He is worried about the whole present thing, having him home will be enough!!!!

What a WONDERFUL Christmas Gift!!! Congrats to you both!!

The records department told him the 9th, then he gets called up yesterday and the lady tells him that he is leaving on the 5th, think it has to do with a change to Level III. It cost $200 to change the airplane ticket, but he comes home 4 days earlier. Happy Tears!!!!
