i'm very excited...this morning i found out i'm being sent to denmark for 3 or 4 days in january for work! i've never been out of the country, so i'm very excited. i've kept a passport hoping to get to use it someday and here's the opportunity.

perhaps my parents knew what they were talking about regarding higher education! :)

the only bummer is, it will probably be right after or around the time aaron comes home...

oh well, i'll bring him back a nice t-shirt! ha!

Denmark!! How exciting. On the parole thing. It takes roughly 2-3 months to actually get released. Two months is really quite fast.

A woman at the parole board office explained that there are a series of steps that have to happen in order. Can't remember things too clearly. Something like after they vote then there is paperwork that they have to do in their office (remember that Aaron will not be the only one parole this month)/ This paperwork is for the people parole within that month. Then they send the paperwork to the prisons for the parolees. The prison then has to get it's paperwork in order. They can not do it until they get the hard copy from the board. This means that couselors have to have the file current. Once the prison has there stuff in order, then comes the green light for Aaron to leave.

Hope this doesn't pop your bubble, but I would rather you know what is a real expectation.

With your dealings with the POB, have you come across different information regarding this?

no bubble popped, di! lol!

for some reason, and i don't know where it originated, i was thinking one month after...i'm glad to know how it actually works. :) and i don't care if it's one month or two or what...as long as he's coming home...!
