My son has been in Korea for almost 2 years now and started his 12 month sentence June 13, 2008. They sent him to Humohries since he has less than a year. I have no information, what can i send him? Where do I send it? His lawyer said that he would e-mail me an address when he had one and rules if he could get them. We have never ever had any experience in this type of situation. I work in the criminal justice system for good ness sake, but the Army and in Korea did it totally different and my being thousand of miles away i could do nothing but support him in calls and letters. I want to be able to continue that but i am scared because i have no information except that he is there. His 20th birthday is June 29th. I have even been thinking about getting some kind of job in Korea just so i could be close and visit him once in a while. How cruel can the Army be? This whole thing has been a nightmare, what started out small snow balled into .... into prison time. Anyone with any information will be appreciated, even just anyone who has been there and can tell me what it is like and what i can look forward to, what he can look forward to.
