I heard today they are going to start allowing Photo's to be taken at visitation again, that Florence is already doing it? does anyone know if this is true? I would love to hear it is, I can't wait to have a pic with my baby.

Florence wasn't when I was there Tuesday but that was non contact too~ I will ask next time I'm there if they know anything about it or not~ Gosh~ I hope they are coming back~ if they think about it, it's another way to get money for good ole' AZDOC (yes, that was sarcasism)

Thanks, I sure hope this is just not another rumor, yeah they don't get enough money now can't understand why they ever stopped taking pics, the inmates were taking the pics, the inmates were paying for the pics, and they were getting the money seemed like they were on the win win on that one

I never fully understood why they decided to ban the picture taking anyway.
I hope they do bring that service back. I was talking with one of the CO's at Safford, and she told me that if they were brought back, they would likely take the picture and hold it in the office for the visitor until the end of visitation. Not sure what they're afraid of.

I went to see my honey today. Pictures are back - well I know for a fact that they are back at Eyman. The guys have to transfer money by the Wednesday before the visit to be able to get a picture done. They have a digital camera, and that is all I know. I'm just excited that on my next visit I'll get my picture with my honey!!

I'm not sure what the pictures cost, all I know is that the guys have to use the money in their accounts for the pictures in Eyman.

I just got back from a visit with Susan at Perryville and we had 2 pictures taken. They cost $2 each but the quality was good. I hope the rest of the complexes allow it.

were you allowed to hug or pose closely in the pics?

They allowed me to put by arm around her. It felt really good. Two and one half years until she's out. I can only afford to see her every 3 months as I live in DC. Good luck to you!

they are taking the pictures in all of the prisions in AZ! And they all cost $2 for 2. And it will be every holiday just like Pumkin said! In Tucson they even have a nice back round to stand next to! This is so cool!

Are pictures back for sure? Because my babe said they arent in Central that he knows of? Or can they only take pictures if they have visitors?? I live in SD and AZ is pretty far for a no contact visit.

All I can speak for is Yuma, but they are back there and the inmates are able to get there pics taken on the yard as well as visitation, the rule is 2 per week in Yuma, they cost 2.00 each.
