Can anyone tell me that if i sign up with local123 do i still have to register with Correctional billing service and incurr both charges?

Also i am trying to decide between saveonprisoncalls and local123... does anyone have any suggestions or horrors that i should know about?

No, you'll not have to worry about others because the service you sign up with will handle it for you. At least it's that way with PCO - which I've had for about 4 years now and I love it. Have you contacted PCO to get their rates??

You have to have both. PCO works differently than local123 and saveonprisoncalls. They are voip numbers and you have to pay separately. However, it is a lot cheaper than PCO!

I have used Ear 2 Ear. Their web site is ( They only charge $5 a month service fee and $1.50 per call. You will need to set up a prepaid account w/ the prison collect call provider. Ear 2 Ear will provide you w/ a local telephone number to the prison.
