My husband has just been transferred to the Ellis Unit in Huntsville. Does anyone have any information on this unit. I went and visited him this past weekend and I sat there for almost an hour because they could not find him. I was not the only that they could not find an inmate. Please if anyone has any information on this unit.

Hi Ronjrsgirl... I dont' know anything about the unit but there is a "search" button up at the top of the screen in blue... You can type in the unit name and maybe some threads will come up that have information.

I hope you find someone soon that has a loved one there..I just didn't want you to go unanswered even though I don't have any information for you...

My boyfriend is in the Ellis Unit, but he is in the trusy camp. I have never had trouble with them not being to find him, just one time he was in chow line and so they had to look, but that's about it. An hour seems too long not to know where someone is at..LOL anyway, if you need anything else let me know, I might be able to help.
