What about magazines?? My man wants Time magazine, Men's Health and futbol related magazines but I can't find any to send over the internet that don't require a subscription. I don't think it would be smart to sign him up with a subscription if they can move him at anytime. Hmmmm..... Anyone??

www.mymagstore.com (http://www.mymagstore.com) has a good selection of single issue, but by the time you pay for shipping some of them cost as much as a subscription. I only use this company when we're testing a magazine to see if he likes it.

Ben has moved in the middle of a subscription and all you have to do is call the magazine and change his address. Most prisons forward mail for 30 days and by then the magazine publisher has everything changed over and the next issue is mailed to the new facility.

If you want to check out a website with good deals on subscriptions, I usually use www.mags4cheap.com (http://www.mags4cheap.com) because they usually have some kind of combo special.

I always send my husband single issues of magazines from BORDERS. Just go pick them out, pay for them & for just $5.00 they will mail them for you from the store. No matter how many magazines you send or how many books you buy they just charge $5.00. I actually like it cause you can look through the books & magazines yourself so you will know if your ma likes them or not. Hope this helps!!

Hello, I remember I had asked once a long time ago if I was able to send single magazine issues to my hubby instead of a subscription, but I am not able to find the old thread. Can someone please inform me or link me up to the website that sends single magazine issues. I appreciate it
