Hi

Does anybody know whether anything is going on at the women's prison at Hazelton. I usually hear from my daughter and I haven't been hearing from her which concerns me. Was just wandering if anybody knew anything?

There is a fellow PTO member there as well, have not heard from her for a bit, however that is not unusual for her. If I here anything I will give you a heads up.

There were times I did not write because I was either too down, or had nothing much to say to my parents when I was in. So it could be the same reason or another, don't know, but again if I hear something you will know.

Thank you so much for responding. It just bothers me because she tells me that things are getting rougher there because of the people coming in the. There is more fights, she always calls to check on her 2yr old son.If I should find out something I will pass it on to you also.

To set your mind at ease, I know of nothing going on at SFF Haz now that should be of any concern to you. I vist there every two weeks, and just visted there last weekend, and I talk to my wife there every two to three days. Email contunes routinely, for I get two or three a day.
There are no problems there beyond the ordinary that I have any knowlege of.

Also remember that just because you have not heard from your loved one does not mean it is for instututional reasons. Individual inmates can be put on restrictions that limit their access. Once sent to the SHU, for example, they will get no communication, and you have no way of knowing when this happens.
