Hi
I am new here and it is nice to see a place like this that you can go to. My husband is in Kent Federal Prison in B.C. Canada. He was on parole for 8 months and had weekend passes home from the halfway house all until...... about a month ago. Now I dont know WHERE we stand. He left at 10:05pm on sundaY NIGHT AS HERE ALWAYS DOES, and I phoned in the morning as he hadnt arrived in the morning home as he always did, and they said he had been aressted!! it seems that they are accusing him of doing a robbery in another city within 25 minutes of him leaving our home. IN ANOTHER CITY at that !!! It is an impossibility !!! Anyway he has now been sitting in prison and still has NO charges, they havnt even charged him with ANYTHING !!! The PO first told me they had him on video and he was caught with a knife and smokes but this isnt true I find out, anywa his parole is up in less than a month and we are hoping he wont be charged by then as he will be out, but if he is he will be getting at least 5 years as he is in on a robbery. I just hate the fact I dont know WHERE I stand ??? I am in limbo right now, and so hurt over all this, anyway, enough with my babbling I look forward to meeting everyone....Lov Stephanie

We have a forum for "Canada" way, way down at the bottom of thw whole list.

In that forum I posted about a lawyer named MICHAEL JACKSON, who's written a book called "Justice Behind the Walls". Mr. Jackson has a website you might want to check out, and his ENTIRE book is on the website.

The reason I'm pointing this out, is this man works with the guys at KENT! His book is really hard hitting... and his life's work towards getting HUMAN rights for the guys is mindboggling!

You aren't in limbo, sweetie. Your in PTO, and we're a really supportive bunch of folks!
