I just found out that my brother is in prison (long story, we never really knew eachother) we are starting to write very often now and gaining that sister/brother relationship. Im pawnee and so is he. Anyways, i want to send him a book, how do i do that? they said straight from the publisher, what in the world does that mean, can i not send it straight from barnesandnoble?? or something like that off the internet?

Usually if they say from the publisher, that's what they mean. I think it's idiotic, but some prisons have gone to that. I personally think ordering off the net should be perfectly safe for their policies. But anyway, you can find the name of the publisher on the Amazon site, I think-----not sure on that but I'm pretty sure they list the publishers for all their books----and then do an internet search to see if the publisher has a website and go from there. Maybe you can order from online that way.
