Anyone have any info on the Beaumont prison Camp? Any info would be great..

I've got a friend who's at Beumont Camp for 48 months. He's been in almost a year with no complaints. I visited him once and the facility is well maintained and seemed like all the inmates were fairly content. There are no fences around the facility and the guards seem pretty mellow. My buddy has been counting his time by exercising (he's lost almost 35 pounds), reading and taking a few classes offered at the facility. Most of the people he has met are real nice and have helped him transition to his new living arangement. In all the experience has been as good as it can be. I'm just looking forward to the day he get out of there and back with us. Hope this helps.

i just visited on father's day for the first time. it was super crowded, but the guards were nice & really tried to accommodate all of the families--even setting up extra chairs and tables. it was definitely a more mellow environment from the low & medium security ones i've been to. no metal detector, scanner, fences etc. & i heard that many of the inmates have driving privileges and a can request for unsupervised day visits home even for like 12-24 hours. if you're looking for some particular info, let me know...but, i hope this bit is useful.
