I just wanted to let everyone know what a good experience Moos and I have had with Srgt. Nollette of San Quentin...
As most of you know, Moos, is traveling in earlier Sept. to the United States for the first time! (Lucky girl is going to California at that!! :cool: ) In talking early on with Moos, I wasn't convinced that her papers were all in order. So I had her call San Quentin again, and low and behold her name was NOT in the computer so she could have her visit.:( . After several calls she was finally able to connect with Mr. Nollette. Mr. Nollette asked her to send over the copies she had and send them directly to him. He told her to call this past Friday and when she did, she could not get a hold of him. So I asked her if I could try calling. (Earlier on another Srgt. was pretty rude and abrupt with me and I didn't get anywhere)... Well, I was able to get right through to Mr. Nollette and he assured me that she would have her visit and if he didn't receive the paperwork, he'd personally walk her through when she came to San Quentin. He told me he was in charge of the DR inmates visit's and she would also get her 8 days of 2 hour visits with her friend. Again, Mr. Nollette, went the extra step when he also added, that he would also do ALL that he could to extend the visits to 4 hours instead of the two hours...He promised for sure at least 1 of the visits would defineitly be the 4 hours! I thanked him for taking care of my friend and for his part in making Moos first visit to the States positive. He was so NICE and said he would personally greet her on her first day of visiting.
Yep, smiling here, because it 'ain't all bad, behind those walls':)
Moos you have a wonderful visit with your friend and I can't wait to talk to you when you get to California!!!
