Has anyone used PCO for their calls? I was wondering if it makes a difference in the price of the calls.

ShawnaIA72 04-29-2008, 09:45 AM I just recently signed up and am waiting to use it for the first time. I hope I get the savings that I was told. I did the PCO quote and it should be a difference of 7.80 less per call...Good luck to both of us! Amy98ta 04-29-2008, 02:42 PM I haven't signed up yet but I was thinking about it. Do you know exactly how it works? Let me know if you save that much. How much have you been spending on calls? ShawnaIA72 04-29-2008, 03:37 PM I called and signed up with PCO yesterday. It was explained to me that you are assigned a virtual phone number (mine is in CA), you give that phone number to the inmate and it will be forwarded to your home, cell or wherever you like. If you go to the PCO website, they will calculate how much your calls will be. I was using GTL and each 15 minute call was costing $17.00!!! The PCO calls will be $9.50 with a $26/month fee. Twice per week calls with GTL - $138 and PCO should be $102...I know, not ALOT of difference, but anything helps!!! :) I am awaiting my confirmation email from PCO with my virtual number and we should be able to begin using it this Friday... sadgrl 04-29-2008, 10:16 PM I use voip and i pay 14.95 plus tax per month. comes out to 17.29 with tax. My calls went from like 12.00 per call to just over 5.00. I looked at the main website and it says 19.95 per month so I dont know if that is a different service than I have but mine is unlimited calls and it forwards the calls to my home phone. they have a 30 day free trial so you can see if it helps and if so just let it continue. |
