I've been writing to prisoners for nearly 4 years now - I've accumulated over 1,000 letters (I've counted!). It doesn't seem like it would be that many, but I enjoy writing letters. I've written to guys in AZ, NC, TX, FL and here in VA. Lately have been concentrating on one of my two penpals in VA since he is getting out in Mid November. I think I have written over 30 guys in prison, some of them for more than 3 years, some only for a few months. I'm 29 with my master's degree in library and information sciences. I have a special interest in prison libraries.
