You caught my earlier post at http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3379 , and I'm glad you're thinking of joining the Texas Inmate Families Association (TIFA). We'd love to see you at our annual conference in Houston on September 21st, if you can make it.

I have a couple of family members who have spent time in Texas state facilities and on parole over the past 20 years, which is how I became interested in criminal justice reform issues and eventually came to work for TIFA.

I admire anyone who has been able to survive the system and has come to the outside with a commitment to take action to improve the system. You are doing a wonderful thing with your work on PTO.
