Just open them all up for visiting. Visits are soooo important to the inmates and their loved ones. Yard 2, yard 2 yard 2 open for visiting in Jesus' name...:)

What in the sam heck is going on there?? When yards one and two had visiting last week I thought or rather I had hoped it would carry over until this weekend. If yards three and four have visiting this weekend and yards one and two do not -- then is it fair to assume that next weekend yards one and two will have visiting again?? I am so confused about this. And why pretell are they switching up on the visiting of the different yards?? If any one knows I would really appreciate some answers. Thanks much.

I'm sure it's because they don't want inmates out and about while they are in the process of searching the yards. They believe a weapon was moved between the 3 & 4 yard during the last search (last month)--so that's probably why they did the escorts during visits last weekend and why they won't allow visiting at all while they are actually searching yards 1 & 2.. Thay don't want anyone to have the chance to move contraband.

Has anyone received a phone call from Yards 3 or 4 since they were listed as having visits this weekend?

This is only my guess but my boy did not know he was able to have a visit last weekend until I showed up and he was called for a visit. As I was told they are still on lock down with no phone calls. So it might be the same thing with yard 3&4. God bless all who get visits this weekend and travel safe.

I'm patiently waiting too. I don't get to visit, I live in Mexico, but I do plan my life around those phone calls from my son, and tomorrow will be a month since I last heard from him. It really bites. I feel worse for the fellas that are used to getting visits each week and now don't. This is the worst for them and their families. Hugs and prayers to all of you in that situation.

This information is from PIO, Lt.Wamble
rec'd Wed. 10 a.m.
and this is his report..:

TB testing is on Friday and may affect visiting for both levels. They hope it won't but they say that visiting is "tentative" because if they don't finish getting everyone tested in the morning, they cannot run visiting starting at 1 pm. Definitely there will be visiting Sat/Sun for Level II's (Yards 3 & 4) unless a separate incident occurs.

As far as the lockdown/modified program on Yards 1 and 2...the searching is finished on Yard 1, but still going on on yard 2. However...due to "needing staff" for the searches...the staff from yard 1 has been pulled to yard 2...preventing the lift of modified programming on either yard. He says depending on the speed (speed? is he kidding?), the chance of visiting is 60/40...in favor of visiting.

So a visitor will have to make up their mind if they want to take that chance if they are traveling from afar. They expect to be able to update the information Thursday eve, so call the hotline after that.

Okay so has anyone heard when there will be phone calls? i got a letter yesterday and he says nothing about phone calls. Last letter before that one he said they were walking to chow and how good it felt to go out side. Because if they have visits and they are able to walk to chow why can't they use the phone? i am just hopeful i guess.

My husband says it should be this weekend or the beginning of next week. While they are searching they don't have staff to run dayroom and that's why there's no calls. They are doing the last couple of buildings on yard 2 now.

Here is the latest word. There will be no visiting for Level III on Friday (the search is not complete; Bldg. 12 will be completed on Friday, to complete the search). Level II will visit on Friday following the TB testing, hopefully it may even start on time. Visiting on Saturday and Sunday should be normal for both Level II and III (barring any unforeseen incidents). Hope this info is helpful.
