The judge gave me 30 days. Will it be 2 for 1 in Harris County, how can I find out? Also any tips? Never spent time in jail.

I do not know what they are offering in Harris County right now but I have never heard of it being down to day for day. I have always been in the position of hearing what sort of "sfor1" or "3for1" was being given from whoever was locked up at the time so I don't know if you can call the jail and ask them or not. I imagine that you'll find out pretty soon after getting inside, though. From all I know the best advise is to stay to yourself when you get in and be careful about who you associate with ... if anybody, if it is for 30 days or less.

Well I'm out thank the LORD! It was horrid. The food, the stench, some of the people. I had no sleep the whole time I was there ( I think they do this on purpose)!!Most of the gaurds had huge egos and enjoyed treating us like animals.

The Harris County Jail is a hell hole and there is no denying that. Now that you know that, just stay to yourself and mind the handlers as much as possible and you will come through it just fine.

If you have some peeps who can visit, just try to make sure someone comes every single day. :)
